  • Malcolm Gwyn Evans

    Chief Executive Officer.

    Former Chief of Staff for the UK Air Cadets where he was responsible for: training, supply, control and accounting, infrastructure, personnel, organisation, and PR. Supporting 44,000+ cadets and 15,000 adult volunteers through 1,000 cadet units, 26 Volunteer Gliding Squadrons, 13 Air Experience Flights and two Adventurous Training Centres. Prior to that, a Royal Air Force Training Officer and qualified Teacher.

  • David Bilcliffe

    Chief Operating Officer.

    International aviation advisor with 30+ years of experience, spanning 80+ countries, in aviation, training & development; working extensively with governments, airports and airline operators. UN recognised Category 1 International Aviation Adviser for ground-breaking civil aviation legislative, development and advisory projects. Former Royal Air Force Squadron Leader (VRT), senior gliding instructor and professional pilot.

  • Robert Satchwell

    Director of Finance.

    Qualified accountant and polyglot, with Degrees in mathematics, economics and law. Extensive experience in all areas of finance (including taxation, corporate governance, and company law) in both the public and private sectors, and in both developed and developing country environments. Core skills include being highly analytical, and comfortable with abstract and complex problems.

  • Chris Heames

    Director of Aviation.

    Former Chief Instructor for Royal Air Force Air Cadets Central Gliding School, responsible for all instructor training and development. A professional international air-display and former military fighter pilot. An extensive aviation career as a pilot and instructor, with over 15,000 hours of flight time comprising 6500 hours Military Fast Jet, 1500 hours Turbo Prop, 3000 hours Gliders and Motor Gliders and 3500 hours General Aviation.

  • Simon Johnston

    Chief Flying Instructor.

    Experienced aviator and flying instructor with 14,000+ hours of flight time on piston and jet aircraft, in both single and multi-crew environments worldwide. Flying instructor for PPL / CPL / IR / MULTI / IMC / UPRT / Aerobatic and Night. Royal Air Force (RAF) AEF pilot and A2 Gliding instructor (conventional and self-launching). Former RAF Volunteer Gliding Squadron Officer Commanding. Civil aviation senior quality auditor, line check captain & chief pilot.

  • Peter Benn

    Air Transport Operations / Project Director.

    Former Concorde Pilot. Aviation professional with experience across a broad-spectrum of commercial aircraft. Former Master of the Honourable Company of Air Pilots, Qualified Barrister, Lieutenant Commander Royal Navy Reserve.

  • Martyn Skeer

    Helicopter Operations / Project Director.

    Very experienced flying instructor in both rotary and fixed wing aircraft. Former Royal Navy Senior Helicopter Pilot and Instructor. Qualified Hill and Moorland Leader for the Duke of Edinburgh Award. Former Chief Flying Instructor for Oxford University Air Squadron.

  • Sir Simon Mayall

    Middle East & North Africa Strategic Advisor.

    A long and distinguished military career with extensive experience and working relationships with senior leadership across the Middle East. Education includes an MA in Modern History from the University of Oxford and an MA in International Relations from King’s College London.

  • Mike Harwood

    International Strategic Advisor.

    Headed the British Defence Staff in the United States and represented the UK in the United Nations. Experienced flying instructor on Hawk and Harrier aircraft. A former Air Cadet, who flew as an RAF volunteer reserve pilot with an Air Experience Flight, training Royal Air Force Air Cadets, right up to his 65th birthday!

  • Sam Clay

    Programmes & Contracts Manager.

    Former Royal Navy Officer. Skilled in Operational Service Design and Delivery. Expert in working with contracting teams to support effective management of supply, control and accounting; providing top-level oversight on performance.

  • Jacqueline Anderson

    English Language Training.

    Highly qualified English Language Teacher and Business English Trainer. Expert in exam preparation including e.g. FCE, CAE, CPE, BEC, IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC. Experience worldwide in Director of Studies roles with responsibility for management of academic programmes.

    Director of Adventurous Training.

    Former Head of Operations for the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award with a Masters Degree in Recreation Management. Designed and delivered international training programmes for all ages in educational youth development, social enterprise training and sports management sectors.

    Michael, a technology leader and humanitarian, has the leadership role in our strategic engagement with senior leadership in Ukraine. His role has been crucial to establishing exactly what is needed to empower the Next Generation of Ukrainian aviation professionals with international qualifications.

  • Mimmy Mrisho Abdallah

    Special Representative - Tanzania.

    A former senior engineering officer in the Tanzanian People’s Defence Force, Abdallah leads in our project with Tanzania and is responsible for strategic and operational planning, compliance, and governance. He is a holder of a Masters degree in Electronic Engineering.

    Special Representative - Caribbean / CARICOM.

    Aviation professional and business leader, with a career including the Canadian Armed Forces, Commercial Air Transport Business and Operations in the Caribbean; an active multi-engine Air Transport Pilot. Mentor to Government and steward for the next generation Aviation Operatives, Technicians and Professionals. Helping to shape the fast developing Aerospace Sector in CARICOM member nations.

    Special Representative - Albania.

    A former senior officer in the Albania Air Force, Pilot-Instructor and National military representative to NATO. Kuto currently leads in our projects with Albania, with responsibility for integrating international strategic and operational planning, compliance, and governance. He holds a Masters degree in Security & Defence.
